In this episode, Hugh shares his experiences as a successful entrepreneur, business leader, and teacher who has helped over 12,000 people launch their passions in real estate investing and business ownership. After 9/11 he realized how short life could be and decided to pursue his dreams. He shares his story of overcoming obstacles and developing a system that helps others build the life they want through real estate investing, starting businesses, and following their passions. We also discuss his books with Jack Canfield and Les Brown as well as his newest book “The Launch Button” which released in November 2022. Then, Hugh focuses on the importance of identifying one's passion and having the plan to achieve it. It emphasizes that money should not be villainized, as it is a tool with which one can make the world a better place. We discuss Tony Robbins' Vivid Vision book as a useful resource for creating a plan to reach one's goals. We also look at accepting failure and risk in order to achieve success, discipline in routine to achieve success, breaking out of limiting beliefs and fears to build confidence, understanding generational patterns to move forward with new habits, real estate sales, investments, buying a home, setting KPIs for tracking success rather than setting end goals and the value of cash flow properties as a wealth building strategy.

● What are the key elements you look for when investing and what is your strategy for building wealth?
o When investing, Hugh prioritizes cash flow properties that generate steady income exceeding expenses, regardless of market fluctuations. His wealth-building strategy involves investing in a variety of properties that can provide consistent cash flow, including short-term and long-term rentals, multi-family, and commercial properties.
● What do you do for your health right now? What is your focus on health?
o Hugh prioritizes his health by incorporating daily workouts into his morning routine. He built a gym in his small apartment in New York City before the pandemic, which has been practicing for his frequent travels.
● How do you know whether you're winning or not?
o Hugh suggests that in order to determine if one is winning in life, one should focus on key performance indicators such as health and building relationships. He aims to build at least one new relationship each week and make five to ten calls or offers on properties each month. By keeping track of these factors, Hugh believes one can gauge their success in life.
● What brings you the most joy in life right now?
o Hugh Zaretsky finds joy in helping people realize their potential as investors and empowering them to break free from limiting beliefs and patterns.
