Terry Tucker is a motivational speaker, author, and international podcast guest on the topics of motivation, mindset, and self-development. He has a business administration degree from The Citadel, where he played NCAA Division I college basketball, and a master’s degree from Boston University. In his professional career, Terry has been a marketing executive, a hospital administrator, a SWAT Team Hostage Negotiator, a high school basketball coach, a business owner, a motivational speaker, and for the past ten years, a cancer warrior. This battle resulted in the amputation of his foot in 2018 and his leg in 2020. Terry is the author of the book Sustainable Excellence: Ten Principles to Leading Your Uncommon and Extraordinary Life and the developer of the Sustainable Excellence Membership. He has also been featured in Authority, Thrive Global, and Human Capital Leadership magazines. ●     What are the key elements you look for when investing, and what is your strategy for building wealth?

o   Terry married his way to wealth and entrusted his investments to his wife. He also emphasizes that for him, it was never about money but rather about contributing to the betterment of oneself, family, fellow man, and creator.

●     What do you do for your health right now? What is your focus on health?

o   Terry prioritizes his health by avoiding sugar, eating protein and fruits, and doing upper body exercises as he only has one leg due to cancer. He believes in a balanced approach to health, giving attention to the mind, body, and soul.

●     How do you know whether you're winning or not?

o   Terry believes that being faithful is more important than being successful in God's eyes. Cancer may take away physical abilities, but it cannot touch the mind, heart, or soul. It is crucial to spend time nurturing the inner self. Terry believes that success is determined by a higher power.

●     What brings you the most joy in life right now?

o   Terry finds the most joy in life from being with his family. He values the love, support, and care they give each other, especially as someone who has worked in high-stress professions. Even though his daughter is married and out of the house, they remain close and consider her husband part of the family.
